Named after the New Orleans bartender who first used rye whiskey in the Sazerac Cocktail, this uncut and unfiltered Straight Rye Whiskey is bottled directly from the barrel, just as it was over a century ago. This bottling is an uncut, unfiltered Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and is one of the five bottlings in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection released each fall. For the 2020 release, barrels were filled in spring 2014 and were picked from barrels which matured in Warehouses K, M, and N. The evaporation for this batch was 32%. Bottled after 6 years and 2 months of aging at 129 proof.
